1st Annual Comet Classic Volleyball Practice Tournament

When : Saturday, August 23rd 2008

Where : Crestwood High School Gymnasium

Cost : $125 per team

Teams : 10 to 12 team will be accepted to the tournament.

Pool Play : Pool play will be divided into 2 pools of 5 teams, or 3 pools of 4
teams depending on the number of teams attending. Teams will
be playing in a round robin style tournament.

Playoffs : Every team will make playoffs to give each team as much court
time and practice as they can get. Playoffs will be run in a single
elimination style until the championship game which will be best
of three.

About the Tournament :
The point of the practice tournament is to give each team as much
playing time as possible before the start of the regular season. This
way coaches have a chance to try different lineups or fix any problems before the start of the season.

As this tournament is only considered a practice preseason tournament, it will not count as a regular season tournament against your schools team.
