Rules: Three 25 point games
Remember we are here to have fun, it's not like we are playing for big prize money
Men cannot block women.
Each player may only be on one team's roster*.
Each team is encouraged to have their own list of substitute players, in addition to their regular roster. This will promote growth in the league.
A legal team for the night requires 3 rostered players including 1 female.
If a team ends up shorthanded (weather delays, last minute cancellations, etc.) they may ask the opposing captain if it is ok to pick up player(s) from another team to fill in on their team. This should happen during warm-ups or before the match. The opposing captain can then agree or disagree, and the outcome of the match stands.
If a delayed player shows up, the pick-up is replaced as soon as the player is ready to enter.
A full team may not pick up extra players, and sit someone from their own roster.
In the event that a person claims to be on no team's roster, that person may sub on different teams, but not participate during playoffs for anyone.
A team may not use pick-ups in playoffs.
*currently the roster is not a submitted form, it is however representative of good sportsmanship and fair play time for as many as possible.
Coed 6's -- 4 men max, 1 woman min
To qualify for playoffs, you must play at least 3 nights in season for your team.
Playoffs: Top 4 regular single elimination bracket with seeding based on the following:
1. Overall game record
2. (if tie) Head to Head record
3. (if tie) If the tie then winner of the last time the two teams played will get the higher place.
4. Tie for eighth will mean a 1 game tie-breaker
5. Highest seed get choice of time slot for playoff night.
Currently this league runs three times a year, with each league running about 14 weeks with a one or two week break in between each session. If you are an individual interested in playing but don't have a team, try putting a post on the I Need A Team page and add a comment that you are interested/available for the Friday night Dunmore league.
